Barbara was trained as a mediator by Willamette Law School’s program for Oregon Court of Appeals’ appellate mediators. She served as an appellate mediator for many years in a wide range of cases including employment law, discrimination cases, family law, and products liability cases.

Barbara’s  mediation practice today focuses on the use of restorative principles to resolve disputes arising out of implicit bias and microaggressions in the workplace. She is also available to mediate unfair labor practice or disputes arising out of collective bargaining agreements.
